Updating the Vehicle Out-Promised Date
If the Vehicle Out / Promised date value is moved out more than one calendar day from the original date, the Delay Reason windows opens prompting you to select a delay reason and notes.
To update the vehicle out / promised date
- Open the workfile, and then select the Events tab.
- Select the Vehicle Out / Promised date from the droplist. The calendar screen opens.
- Select the day and time from the calendar window.
- Select Update Status, and then select Update status only from the Repair Status section. The Delay Reason screen opens.
- Select a delay reason from the Reason droplist, and then enter any additional notes if needed.
- Click OK.
- Click Save or Save and Close from the toolbar.
