Updating the Vehicle Out-Promised Date

If the Vehicle Out / Promised date value is moved out more than one calendar day from the original date, the Delay Reason windows opens prompting you to select a delay reason and notes.

To update the vehicle out / promised date

  1. Open the workfile, and then select the Events tab.
  2. Select the Vehicle Out / Promised date from the droplist. The calendar screen opens.
  3. Select the day and time from the calendar window.
  4. Select Update Status, and then select Update status only from the Repair Status section. The Delay Reason screen opens.
  5. Select a delay reason from the Reason droplist, and then enter any additional notes if needed.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Save or Save and Close from the toolbar.
